I work with the OpticFilm 135i practically only together with VueScan, because the software that comes with it is very practical and simple, but does not give good results. From my point of view, the only disadvantage is that with VueScan the film holder moves out completely after each image before moving on to the next image... But you can scan all images very well with the push of a button as well as specifically only single ones (e.g. 1 and 3). I think a third party software is rather a MUST, because e.g. only with multiple scans a sufficient colour and brightness depth is guaranteed - and that is not possible with the supplied software.
