Does anyone have experience with suctioning the ink? I've tried using a thin tube to get to the ink, but there are some plastic parts in the way. I want to dispose of the printer, but I could use the remaining ink in another printer of the same design. Thank you very much for your answer.

Helpful answer

The easiest way is to get large syringes with long needles (80 mm) at the pharmacy. You can get to the filler neck from above. That would be my approach. I have done this with other printers.

It is not a question but a statement: I have noticed that the dimensions of your products are often wrong. For example with this printer: Length: 33 cm Width: 44.50 cm Height: 19.70 cm (I hardly think that the length is smaller than the width or depth) Actually, it could be as long as it is wide. But is it so difficult to enter these measurements correctly?

It says depth instead of length on the manufacturer's website https://de.canon.ch/printers/pixma-g4511/specifications/, but it also says dimensions (W x D x H) Approx. 445 x 330 x 197 mm. But thank you for pointing this out, it is true that some of the details are incorrect, but we are working on it and trying to correct the errors as best we can.

Good evening, we are not frequent printers. Does the ink dry out quickly? Can the ink dry up in the tubes or is the ink only sucked in when the printer is supposed to be ready? Thank you very much for your answer.

We haven't had the printer that long, but we use it with major interruptions of 10 days. So far we have not had any problems. With the HP printer (large formats) we also have no problems with longer downtimes.

Can it also scan DUPLEX? That is, 10 pages printed twice in the ADF and the output is a PDF with 20 pages? Without manual intervention?
