Pattex High Tack Mounting Adhesive is a versatile product that is ideal for mounting a wide range of materials. It has been specially developed to bond both absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces, making it an excellent choice for a variety of interior and exterior applications. The adhesive offers a high initial adhesion of up to 350 kg/m² and is suitable for wood-based materials such as skirting boards, as well as stone, plastics, ceramics, drywall, mirrors and metal. The elastic and weather-resistant adhesive joint ensures a vibration-damping connection that remains stable even under changing conditions. The adhesive can also be painted over and sanded, which offers additional flexibility during application. However, it is important to note that permanent exposure to water should be avoided. Instructions for use | Substrate pre-treatment: All substrates must be clean, dust-free, sound, grease-free and free of separating agents. Remove loose paint and wallpaper. Clean highly absorbent and dusty surfaces, if necessary pre-treat with a primer such as Metylan Universal Primer. Sand extremely smooth surfaces if necessary, remove release agents with suitable solvents. Cover neighbouring surfaces. Application: Depending on the application, apply evenly in lines or dots. Ensure ventilation at a distance of approx. 3 mm (especially with two non-absorbent substrates). Apply in lines (vertically): With this vertical application method, no moisture can accumulate; it escapes again underneath the workpiece (condensation moisture or directly acting water). Fixing: Then press on the workpieces, only firmly enough so that the adhesive does not flow together. Private pension provision is recommended for fixing heavy or stressful objects for 24 hours. Storage: Store in a frost-free, cool and dry place. Avoid direct sunlight. Shelf life 12 months in original container. |
