MHA - The Movie 2 - Heroes Rising
The worldwide smash hit now in color! Plus Ultra!
The young artist talent Kohei Horikoshi won the Tezuka Award for Newcomers in 2006 and remained a prominent figure in the Japanese manga scene over the following years with his refreshing storytelling style. With My Hero Academia, he made the leap into the upper echelons of Japanese manga artists!
My Hero Academia - Heroes Rising is the second feature film and was released in theaters in 2021. The story takes place between the fifth and sixth seasons of the anime.

Over the years, the percentage of the population with "quirks" has skyrocketed! Currently, 80 percent of people have superpowers, known as quirks! Heroes and villains seem to be in a constant battle against each other. But how and where could heroes learn to use their abilities more effectively? Naturally, at a school specifically for young heroes! And what about the 20 percent of the population born into this world without superpowers?

Content:
On the remote island of Nabuto far in the south of Japan, the project "Training the Next Generation of Heroes" begins! Deku, Katsuki, and the other students of Class 1-A assist the island's residents in their daily lives with heroic activities, but suddenly the island is attacked by mysterious villains! A fierce battle begins for the next generation of heroes against overwhelmingly superior opponents who possess multiple quirks! Plus Ultra!
