The device includes an automatic shut-off with an indicator when housing parts are opened, as well as an automatic limit shut-off. Simple operation is facilitated by a start/stop switch, and the display shows error messages. There is a counter for addition (total counter) or subtraction (preset counter). An additionally selectable test run function allows for the early folding of two sheets of paper for testing purposes. The belt feed includes an adjustable paper ejection roller for controlled stacking of folded papers.
