The spin-off tells the story of the last Naruto film - Boruto - Naruto the Movie and continues it. The manga is created by Ukyo Kodachi (writer) and Mikio Ikemoto (illustrations) under the supervision of Naruto mastermind Masashi Kishimoto and is released monthly. Naruto Uzumaki is finally Hokage and a proud father of two children. His son Boruto is considered a prodigy and is just as rebellious as his father once was. Boruto is annoyed with his father, who seems to know nothing but work. He decides to rebel against the outdated mindset of ninjas and asks Sasuke to train him to become a better ninja than Naruto.
