Since first grade, they have been best friends: Kim, 15, rather inconspicuous, and Petrowna, smart, eccentric, and used to always being in charge. Everything changes when the two of them go to a school reading with their class: While the others whisper, comb their hair, or stare out the window, Kim becomes alert because what the author is mumbling is about her. Okay, there are a few other names mentioned and some unimportant details that are incorrect, but the rest is her! However, the story does not end well, especially not for Jasper, Kim's classmate, who, if the book tells the truth, ends up dying from a wasp sting. To prevent this, Kim has no choice but to completely turn her life upside down. Suddenly, she does all sorts of things for the first time, like kissing Jasper. But that doesn't sit well with Pe.
