Why are the price differences between patch cables of the same cat. and length so enormous? Is a high-priced patch cable really so much "better" than a low-priced one? At a cable length of 3 metres, I know that interference is rather rare. But the price difference from the cheapest to the most expensive is easily around CHF 20 (per cable). Is it really worth the extra cost?

With a length of 3m, you can usually use a simple cable; you only need a better one if you have a lot of interference.
