Today, the car radio receives the music from a USB stick on which mp3 files are stored in FAT32. Now I want to replace the USB stick with a USB audio adapter that I can use to stream music from the iPhone. Is this adapter suitable for this and can I pair this adapter with the iPhone?

Most likely this will not work. I suspect that the car radio supports the protocols for FAT32, but the drivers for the Bluetooth profiles A2DP, AVRCP, HID, HSP cannot be installed.
