This is a SIM card router, and it can only do 4G, correct? Can it be operated in bridge mode, i.e. as a pure modem? I have this system here, which I would like to make the router part https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/product/asus-mesh-system-zenwifi-ax-mini-xd4-3-pack-router-14335977?supplier=406802 Thank you

This is a SIM card router, and it can only do 4G, correct? No. You can, for example, operate a mobile phone via USB port and realise a 4G/5G connection via this. Dual WAN is possible (failover and link aggregation). Can it be operated in bridge mode, i.e. as a pure modem? This is possible, but not practical. You are not utilising the great potential of this router. I bought the following 4G/5G gateway to realise Dual Wan with the RT-AX88U: https://teltonika-networks.com/products...
The professional Teltonika TRB500 gateway (OS: OpenWrt derivatives) would be very suitable for you. Simply connect it to your ZenWIFI system via RJ45.
