The scope of delivery includes a power cable. Does this mean the cable to connect the speakers or something else? If not, do these cables generally come with the purchase of a speaker, or do I have to buy cables myself? Which cables are suitable?

No, there are no cables with which speakers can be connected to the receiver.
The mains cable is the cable with which the Denon is connected to the power supply. No more and no less.

Buy 99% of the cables yourself, such receivers can be used for a wide range of applications (stereo, 5.1, 7.1 etc.). The distances that the cables have to cover (depending on the room, flat setup) to the speakers can also vary greatly. Therefore, from the manufacturer's point of view, it makes little sense to supply such cables. In general, the cables should have a larger cross-section and thus also a low impedance.
