Several OS updates have been released recently. Unfortunately, this has led to some complications in my case: the Google keyboard freezes (can only be fixed by restarting), the phone and contacts icon is displayed twice (possibly because I have two SIM cards?) And the performance has generally dropped a lot. Unfortunately, a factory reset did not solve the problem. What else could I try? Thank you and best regards
I have exactly the same problem. Standard apps like "Contacts, SMS" etc. are always displayed twice. In addition, there is a bug that I should constantly synchronise all my data via the Exchange programme, although this function does not even exist. But for the price, the smartphone is okay.
You can load an old firmware from the Huawei onto it. However, you would then have to root the device, i.e. the warranty is lost. If the device is older than 2 years, I can only recommend this.
Re-install the entire OS (or the old version... what does Google think?)... I used to do this kind of gadgetry with Samsung. I'm sure you can do the same with Huawei (because it's Android).
