Same design for 8 years so much for "iconic design". LCD 326ppi (1334 x 750 pixels) 60hz Thick bezel Same bad battery, minimally better than predecessor (20-25%) Price... Only one camera i.e. no wide angle, zoom etc.... No night mode for the camera No power supply No MagSafe So really, who buys this?
Hey you, I'll buy that!
Why? Durability and reliability are very important to me when it comes to mobile phones. I don't want to replace my phone every 2 or 3 years and I want it to work. I'm replacing my 6s (7 years old) with this because 16GB of memory just doesn't cut it anymore.
LCD 326ppi (1334x750): easypeasy to read my agenda and mails.
60Hz, who cares?!?
Thick frame, doesn't bother me
Battery, as long as it lasts for a day
Price, 620 for 128GB + 5Y warranty. Divided over 5 years = 124 per year. I am willing to pay
Camera: ok for memories and scanning documents
Power supply, I have enough at home
MagSafe, do I really need it?
So: the perfect device for me :) Need a mobile phone for mobile phone stuff nothing more.
Just because you don't have to like it doesn't mean that no one will buy it. There is certainly a benefit for someone who doesn't really pay attention to these specs now.
