Question about Apple iPhone 13 Pro

Ordered today at 2pm (iPhone 13 Pro, 256GB, Graphite). At first it said "delivery in 7-9 days" (which would be correct based on the release date), but 45 minutes later it said "probably mid-October". I really hope that this is simply a system error and that the delivery date will "normalise" again.

Helpful answer

same. Supposedly "first come first serve", how can it jump from 7-9 days to mid-October. Piling up orders when you can't meet the demand at all? I would have cancelled the order immediately and ordered elsewhere if "mid-October" had been communicated from the start. I ask for transparency. Unbelievable...

I assume this is the first time you've pre-ordered from digitec? :)

It's like this every year (look at past iPhones, you'll always find this question).

I think it's because they simply don't have any physical units yet, so they don't know how many they'll actually have on launch day - that's why they show everyone the day when the full pre-order quantity is available for ALL. I.e. the display does not yet have a first-come-first-served.

But as soon as the devices arrive, they will also be distributed, and the display will then correct itself - as it does every year. At least I don't assume that this year is an exception.

What can happen, however, is that if you pre-ordered late (i.e. several minutes after 2 p.m.), the launch day quantity is actually already sold out. After all, there are thousands of people who have set an alarm clock to pre-order.

Hello all
We are doing our best to get the models to you in time.
Of course, we have placed a large order with Apple. However, experience shows that demand is very high everywhere at launch and availability is very limited throughout the market.
The first devices are expected to arrive on 23.09.21 and on 24.09.21 the first customers will receive their devices on a "first come, first served" basis.

Usually, the units are delivered to all partners in a staggered manner, which is why not all delivery dates can be correctly mapped in the system at this point in time. As soon as we receive the relevant information, the expected delivery dates will of course be adjusted.

Thank you very much for your confidence and best regards
Oguzhan

I hope so too. Otherwise I would definitely have ordered directly from Apple!

It's amazing how many people want to have the device right on launch day. I'm also an Apple fanatic but I can wait 2-3 weeks xD

same here... It was exactly the same last year. If you ordered at 14:00 you should have it in a week tomorrow... I think digitec does it quite well, just take it easy. Better hope the post office doesn't sell it then...
