Memory management!!! How do I manage the memory usage of the internal 64GB and my Micro SD 256GB card? I have the S61 and am struggling with full 64GB vs. almost empty Micro SD card. It seems to me that the management via "Extended storage" is insufficient, via "Mobile storage for pictures and files" not usable at all. Has Caterpillar made a mistake or is Android 8.1 incapable? Depending on the answer, the phone either gets 5 stars or goes into the "bad buy" category.
Hello Tobi,
You can manipulate this in > Settings>Memory>click on the SD card>click on the three vertical dots at the top right>Memory settings and then format the SD card as internal memory.
Then your problem should be solved.

Hello all
Do not format the SD card as internal memory, select SD card memory location in the camera app, then you will at least have all photos and videos on the SD card. When connecting to PC via USB in phone itself select Data transfer, not Photo transfer then SD memory is also visible and also DCIM folder in SD memory. Greetings
Hi Flo
Unfortunately this does not solve the problem, it only describes how to set up the card as int. memory. I would like to specifically influence which (as many as possible) apps run on the card, but that is not possible and, as I said, I have a full int. memory and the almost empty micros SD card that is also set up as internal. In addition, I can no longer move large amounts of files to the mobile phone memory on the PC, for example, because 64 GB is still displayed as the mobile phone memory. Not 64 + 256 GB, or a total of 320 GB.
