It is said that the Xiaomi Redmi 5 no longer has a USB-C port. What does this mean for everyday life or for listening to music with headphones? Is that possible?

The Redmi Note 5 has a "normal" micro-USB port for charging and data transfer like probably 90% of all Android smartphones. USB-C would allow faster charging times (AFAIK) and is the "newer" port - but otherwise... Headphones connect via a normal jack at the bottom of the device. So charging and listening at the same time is not an issue (not like the iPhone mess).
