Yes, it is compatible with any Dell or almost any other computer, for that matter. The Targus docking stations (as well as the so-called "universal" docking stations from other manufacturers) are really almost universal. The only problem I noticed in the use of the Targus docking station with some computers has to do with the fact that, if you decide to use the built-in video adapter (to expand you system to a multi-display one), you might run into incompatibilities just because of the unavailability of drivers for the graphics system of the Targus on the particular operating system used in the computer. Apart from that, the other interfaces (USB, Ethernet, etc.) are all highly compatible, never had any problem.
