I can't imagine a USB-C charging plug. Nevertheless: Missing plugs can be ordered from Targus without any problems. I have already reordered this for two Acer notebooks. I sent the order directly to Targus as follows: To: Dock Support EMEA <docksupportemea@targus.com> Subject: Universal 3.0 DV Docking Station with Power: Missing Adapter Tip (Note: enter the missing adapter type here like USB-C) Hello I bought a docking station. S / N: 1707022446, see attachments (Note: enter serial number and attach proof of purchase) Unfortunately I missing the adapter for a (Lenovo) notebook. Lenovo:.... (Note exact number). Please send me the missing adapter to my address: The respective delivery was free of charge within a few days.

Exactly. The Targus driver installs automatically with the first Ethernet connection. Connect both cables to the notebook and everything works! I was missing the plug attachment for the Acer notebook. Targus supplied this free of charge without any problems. Attention: If the docking station is also connected to a separate monitor, do not change the Windows (screen) display for two monitors. This is done autonomously by the Targus software.

The notebook is charged with the attachments that you will find in the docking station and a separate cable was also supplied. For the Ethernet connection and the other interfaces, a USB cable was supplied which you would have to use. In addition, the Targus driver is required. :)

Olá Marcelo, Yes, it is compatible with any Dell or almost any other computer, for that matter. The Targus docking stations (as well as the so-called "universal" docking stations from other manufacturers) are really almost universal. The only problem I noticed in the use of the Targus docking station with some computers has to do with the fact that, if you decide to use the built-in video adapter (to expand you system to a multi-display one), you might run into incompatibilities just because of the unavailability of drivers for the graphics system of the Targus on the particular operating system used in the computer. Apart from that, the other interfaces (USB, Ethernet, etc.) are all highly compatible, never had any problem.

I use the docking station to connect an external screen, the internet and the power supply. The internet and the screen data are connected via USB cable between the docking station and the laptop. I don't know whether a monitor can be operated at the HDMI and DVI connections at the same time, but it could be. If so, the same image would be displayed on both monitors. To be able to display two different images, the laptop graphics card would also have to be able to deliver two different images via the same USB connection, which I doubt as a possibility. Whether the laptop can deliver two different images at all can be easily tested. Connect an external monitor and try via graphics card settings to display different images on the laptop and the external monitor. If this is possible, there is still the problem of how to get the image shown on the laptop onto an external monitor. If the laptop has two picture outputs (HDMI and DVI), there remains the possibility of connecting the second external monitor directly to the laptop. However, this is only useful if the graphics card allows two different displays to be produced. Liwob3533

Yes, there is a list, but take it with a pinch, BIG pinch. I have 3 laptops, the one with the squate type (the new lenovo thinkpad) are good but I have an Acer Aspire V nitro, and despite what the box says, not the right adapter, nor for my girlfriend's laptop (I don't know what it is, but a known brand), I wanted to send the product back but I was too late

If you click on "Show more" in the "Information" section, you will find a link with which you can find the right notebook. It also says the following: "If the matching adapter plug for your notebook is not included in the scope of delivery, please contact techde@targus.com".

That should work. We use 5x such stations and everything works amazingly well (power supply, 2x screens, LAN, USB). The laptop must not "demand" more power than the power supply unit can deliver. In that case, there should be no problems.
