I have this motherboard https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/msi-mpg-b550-gaming-edge-wifi-am4-amd-b550-atx-mainboard-13299616 with 2x PCIe x16 and 2x PCIe x1. The network card does not fit into the x1. One x16 slot is used by the graphics card (RTX 3070 TI). I have inserted the network card in the other but it is not recognised. The BIOS also shows that none is plugged in. I have already tried several BIOS settings, plugged it in again etc., updated the BIOS, all without success. I am desperate and have already read through 100 forums. I hope someone can help me here. Can I not use the card in the slot at all? Or is something defective?

Helpful answer
Schau einmal in die Anleitung deines Mainboards. Gewisse PCIE Slots werden deaktiviert wenn du eine M2 verbaut hast,.
** When installing devices in M.2_2, PCI_E2 & PCI_E3 slots at the same time, PCI_E3 slot will be unavailable, and M2_2 slot only supports PCIe x2. Please refer to page 18 for details.
