I have already tested 3 armoured glasses and each had 3mm of air around the edge of the display. none of them fit. which film fits without the annoying air under the edge?

I have exactly the same problem, a visible border around the display. Seems to be a problem with the display glass

Unfortunately, we have not tested the armoured glasses ourselves with the Huawei P20 Lite. But the items we have listed under the accessories should work.
