I have a vdsl2 sfp at home, and want to remove the sunrise internet box altogether. Would that work with this router?

The Ubiquiti EdgeRouter can be thought of as an old school network router that can also be used as a 6 port GBit switch or media converter. It has some useful functions, but a DSL modem or WLAN are not included.
The device is aimed more at administrators and requires a certain basic knowledge.
