Question about DeTeWe Outdoor 8500, set of 2
I have a DeTeWEe outdoor 8500 -- but the instructions are in Gerrman and I need them in English !! anybody know where I can download a pdf or similar ??
The operation is quite simple:
Menu Button (the right one on the front):
1 click: change channel with up/down buttons, confirm with PTT button on the side.
2 clicks: change CTCSS code (same procedure as above)
3 clicks: change DCS code
4 clicks: enable/disable VOX
5 clicks: channel scan
6 clicks: CTCSS scan
7 clicks: DCS scan
8 clicks: change ringtones
9 clicks: disable/enable ringtones
10 clicks: enable/disable roger beep
11 clicks: enable/disable button sounds
12 clicks: enable/disable dual channel mode
key lock: hold menu button until key symbol appears on display (PTT and call button remain functional)
Call Button: sends out a ringtone to the set frequency.
