Question about Sony TA-AN1000

I can't imagine that Sony will have much success on the European market with this overpriced product; no FM/DAB, no phono connection. Even the next model up, the STR-AZ1000ES, which is not (yet?) available in Europe, has no phono connection and for the FM tuner part there is only this cheap antenna connection, which the models STR-DH790 etc. already had, not to mention DAB.

Enclosed is Sony's response: "To connect a turntable that has only one PHONO output jack, you must connect a phono equaliser (not supplied) between the turntable and this unit."
