Help: I cannot configure the switch. It is neither accessible via the browser (Windows 7 and 10, Firefox and Opera) nor is it recognised by the ProSafe Plus utility software. Factory reset did not help. What could be the reason for this? The basic problem is that the switch (which is located between the router and the disk station) blocks external requests to the disk station.

Hello Velogemp, the switch can only be configured via the web after the firmware upgrade. Initial configuration must be done via Netgear Utility. For this, the switch needs an IP address that it obtains via DHCP. Does the router give the switch an IP address? If not, it cannot be found.
