Question about ASUS RT-AX88U Gaming
Hello I currently have a Nighthawk RAX40 as an access point for my basement room. It is connected to my modem in the flat upstairs via LAN. However, I have noticed, due to the upgrade of the internet line, that the router is now a bottleneck. Is it worth replacing it with the RT-AX88u Gaming? I read a lot of problems here regarding connection losses. I also had these with the AX40. since the latest firmware, the problem has now been solved. at least I no longer had any losses. Please only serious comments. I am not a layman. I just want to know the experiences of other owners.

I have two RT-AX88U in use and have not noticed any bottlenecks despite high traffic. The question is, in which area do you have bottlenecks (WLAN, LAN, ?)? I can simply tell you that the firmware problems have disappeared for a very long time and the AX88U really works very reliably (and without losses).

I have been using the RT-AX88U for about 1 year. It works perfectly with the current firmware. It has to be said that I am "only" a normal user.
