Question about Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 module

Hello I bought this adapter together with the AsRock B365M Pro4 mainboard. However, my computer does not recognise the network card. I have installed all the necessary drivers etc. (manually and via the Intel Driver and Support Programme). The card also does not appear anywhere in the Device Manager. Neither as an unrecognised device nor hidden. I don't know what else I could try. Can anyone help me?

If I see it correctly, this is a mainboard for Intel CPUs of the 8th and 9th generation. This board is a module that supports the "connectivity" (CNVi) built into the processor, also described here by Intel:

I had to come to the conclusion myself that this CRF module works as CNVio2. Unfortunately, Intel CPUs of the 8th and 9th generation only support CNVio1. CNVio2 is only supported from the 10th generation onwards.

That will probably be the problem for you, as it is for me.

Hello Bastiaan, I bought the Intel WiFi adapter a long time ago. It runs in a computer with an Intel 9100F processor and an H310 chipset. During the driver installation, there was no malfunction except for an unclear sub-item (an unrecognised sub-device in the device manager, presumably driver problem without further consequence). I have heard that this Intel WiFi card does not work well or not at all with AMD mainboards. However, I do not have any personal experience with AMD. Your motherboard contains AMD Quad CrossFireX™. Maybe that is the reason for the driver conflict. I would ask Digitec if they will take back the Intel card. Markus
