Ethernet switch? What is the difference between the Netgear Pro Safe GS105E and GS105ge, apart from the points in the comparison table? I would simply like to run two PCs on my room socket (RJ45), whereby both are not necessarily working together. One PC is permanently connected to the LAN, the other to the WLAN. However, I sometimes want to have this "WLAN PC" on the LAN to ensure speed and stability. I have a "switch" in mind. Does anyone have any tips that a normal user can also use? Thank you very much.

According to NETGEAR, GS105E is a discontinued model (no longer built). A GS105 series switch does what you want it to do. It is simply an Ethernet outlet multiplier. You can connect up to 4 devices and they have Ethernet independently.
