Found by google search on Samsung website:“ SmartTag is compatible with Samsung Android OS 8.0 and higher. Other Android devices and iOS devices are not supported. To use the “Find Using Camera” feature with SmartTag+, you will need a Galaxy Mobile device with Android 11 or higher and UWB support.“

the Galaxy SmartTag2 is only compatible with Samsung Galaxy devices (smartphones and tablets) with Android OS 9 or higher.
