Question about Brother Mfc-9340cdw
Can the scanner store files on freely (!) selectable shares in the LAN, e.g. on a NAS (not FTP)? The Brother 2740dw cannot do this, although it is sometimes advertised as such.

Hello, yes, that works for me.
I have set up an SMB share on my Qnap and it can store the scans on this share.
The scans are set up via the web interface of the printer.
On the printer you have to set the format of the scanned file.
