Can anyone tell me the difference between 5.0 and 5.1 sound systems? I have found information here http://mein-heimkino.org/soundsystem-ratgeber/ and only about 2.1, 5.1, 6.1 and 7.1.

A 5.0 sound system does not include a subwoofer. On the website you mentioned, it is explained as follows: "Why is a 5.1 sound system called that, for example? A 5.1 sound system test explains: Due to the total of five channels, the sounds are transmitted without any problems. There is a separate low-frequency channel, which is called a subwoofer. This ensures excellent surround sound through the five channels. The five channels are divided as follows: 1 x centre speaker, 2 x front speakers and 2 back speakers. The subwoofer is connected separately for proper bass."
