Does this monitor require a special graphics card? I have an Nvidia GT625 Geforce card in my PC (ca. 2013). Thanks for the help:-)

No, it never needs to be. But it depends on what exactly you want, if you want 4K with 60Hz, this will hardly work, because your graphics card probably does not support the current HDMI standard. Unfortunately, my 1-year-old laptop doesn't either.

So you have to

clarify beforehand which resolution with which refresh rate works for you.

No, I don't think so, I have a notebook without a graphics card via UsbC and an older PC with Nvidia via hdmi. Both top resolution.
