Bought new last Saturday, installed, drivers installed, internet working (PCE-AC88 Dual-Band AC3100. In the device manager I can't find a way to switch between 2.4GHz and 5GHz, nor can I find any indication of how to set the 802.11 standard (neither 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n nor 802.11ac are shown as options). Under 'Advanced' I see a setting 802.11d Support (Auto Country). Is this Swiss made? Yes, it has the latest driver for Windows 10, loaded from Asus' website.

The router can "only" do 802.11g/b and 802.11n. So ac will not work, even if your RT-AC88U could do it, the router cannot. Look under "Wireless settings", there should be an entry "Mode". This should be set to maximum. Here is a help page from Netgear which explains the interaction: https://kb.netgear.com/de...

You configure this in the router that configures the WLAN, not in this "receiver" card. It automatically uses the settings of the WLAN.
