Also suitable/necessary for the new UPC TV box? Hello everyone, Since the UPC customer service once again leaves a lot to be desired, my question is now in this round. This switch seems to be ideal for Swisscom-TV (keyword: IGMP Snooping). Does anyone know whether this would also be good or even necessary for the new UPC TV box? Thank you very much!

IGMP snooping would be relevant because of multicast (e.g. Swisscom TV & TV7 from Init7).

If I'm not mistaken, UPC TV has "only" unicast... so a cheap switch without IGMP snooping also works.
However, this could change in the future, as Sunrise is buying UPC. Sunrise TV uses unicast and multicast.
