I have a 120m2 flat with the rt ax 88 which is stationed at a corner.
The reception is sufficient everywhere.
The advantage is that it also has many Ethernet cable connections for NAS printers etc. so you don't need an additional switch. So you don't need an additional switch. It is connected to the 1 GB connection of fibre 7 and also brings this to the wifi. But not with old devices, of course. You have to update the windows driver for ax firmware. Just like it says on the flyer. I haven't noticed any disadvantages yet, except that the device is quite large.

Depends on the distribution. I do very well with 2 devices with the Asus RT-AX88U on 2 floors and 160 sqm.

Thanks, I have now got myself an Asus XT8, which suits me for now. So far I haven't seen any restrictions.
