1: Do you have any experience with the camera software update? 2: How does the device compare to the S8? Main focus: Camera, battery life screen (performance rather secondary).

Except for the battery life, the S8 wins on every point.
Definitely had the better photos with the S8. V30: a little blurry and distorted. The display on the LG is bright, but in strong sunlight you can read the S8 a bit better. Big advantage/disadvantage: no 0815 device that everyone has. Accessories such as covers etc are almost only available online. In addition, there are sometimes apps that do not work on the v30 (e.g. UBS Access). I am still very satisfied with my v30 despite Android 7.1.2.
