1. Wago Potential feed
Power supply: DC 24 V. Diagnosis: Intrinsically safe. The power supply module is designed to supply all intrinsically safe Ex i modules of the 750 series. It monitors the power supply of the downstream Ex i segment and separates the intrinsically safe part from the non-intrinsically safe part of the WAGO I/O System 750/753. The input and output sides are galvanically isolated. The maximum current provided by the power supply module is 1.0 A. When assembling the Ex i segment, it is important to ensure that this total current is not exceeded. In the event of a short circuit or overload, the output voltage is automatically switched off by electronic monitoring. After the fault is cleared, the output voltage is reactivated within approximately 10 seconds. Note: If more than one power supply module per station is required due to load conditions, four distance modules (750-616) must ensure the distance between the intrinsically safe segments. Indicators: Green LED (input voltage). Green/red LED (output voltage present/absent).

The interface operates in accordance with TIA/EIA-485-A, DIN 66259 standards. The connected device can communicate directly with the control system via the used bus coupler. The active communication channel operates independently of the underlying bus system in full duplex mode at speeds of up to 19200 baud. The RS-485 interface ensures high noise immunity through galvanically isolated signals. The shield connection is directly routed to the mounting rail.
