The compact headend OM10 0648 is designed for the transmodulation of 6 DVB-S/S2 transponders into 8 DVB-C (QAM) or 8 DVB-T (COFDM) channels. Equipped with 4 CI interfaces, the system is ideally suited for the central decryption of pay-TV programs but can also be used as a free-to-air basic supply in smaller projects. With the multiplex functionality before the CI interfaces, services from different transponders can be combined and decrypted via a smart card. This increases the cost-effectiveness when dealing with expensive professional CAMs. Additionally, there is the option to remove unwanted programs from a transponder and reduce the number of output channels through output-side multiplexing.
