CCA refers to bi-metallic single and multi-stranded wires/cables with a copper-plated aluminum core designed for high-frequency applications.

Specification statement: The so-called skin effect, also known as current displacement, is a physical phenomenon caused by high-frequency alternating currents. The current density inside the conductor decreases with increasing frequency compared to that at the outer surface. The inner cross-sectional area of a conductor carrying high-frequency alternating current practically has no transmission function.

Thus, the CCA network cable represents a genuinely cost-effective and weight-reduced alternative to traditional solid copper wiring, while maintaining equivalent performance and transmission characteristics.
