With its compact size, robust housing, and powerful lithium-ion battery, the freetalk com II meets essential basic requirements for a modern PMR radio. All settings can be easily adjusted: up to 16 channels can be occupied, 2 function keys are programmable, and the device settings can be announced in English via the voice announcement feature if desired. The VOX function can be activated for the use of an optional headset, the transmission power is switchable (high/low), and there are 9 sensitivity levels available for optimal noise suppression. CTCSS/CDCSS tones, PTT identification (DTMF), emergency call function, scanning, transmission time limitation (TOT), as well as battery status indication and low battery warning complete the extensive list of device features.
