Since childhood, Jodie has felt that she is a little different from everyone else. She possesses special supernatural abilities that allow her to connect with an immaterial entity named Aiden. However, she will soon discover that this gift will change her entire life.

In Beyond, players take on the role of protagonist Jodie Holmes and experience 15 years of her life through various life stages. In pivotal moments, it is up to the player to decide the course of the story. During gameplay, control can be taken over Jodie or her entity Aiden.
