SIMATIC HMI Unified Comfort Panels enable innovative operating concepts based on the new visualization software SIMATIC WinCC Unified. All devices, ranging from 7 to 22 inches, offer the same number of interfaces and maximum operating comfort thanks to modern multitouch technology. The new hardware also provides significantly more performance for implementing visualization. System limits have been at least doubled, and in some cases even tripled. This allows for the implementation of much larger applications than previously possible on a panel system. The functionality of the devices can be easily expanded as needed through the integrated edge functionality. To ensure the IT security of the devices, Siemens relies on a proprietary operating system and allows the user to disable unnecessary functions or interfaces. Each Unified Comfort Panel is available in two design variants: standard design with Siemens and SIMATIC HMI branding, featuring a silver aluminum frame, and a neutral design without branding and with a black aluminum frame.
