It meets or exceeds all Cat5e standards and is made with 26 AWG bare copper conductors. The color-coded pairs allow for easy identification, and it has polyolefin insulation.

This RS Pro Cat5e cable is suitable for computer networks, including Power Over Ethernet (POE). Cat5 and Cat5e cables are virtually identical in thickness, color, and material. However, Cat5e cables often have a more durable protective jacket, allowing for longer use. The wiring inside Cat5e cables is typically more tightly twisted, making them more resistant to crosstalk.
