Decided to switch to Android after 8 years in bed with Apple. This phone was bought more or less as a test, but man I am really happy with it. Does all that my iPhone 6 did, and more and faster. Definitely recommended.

I have had this mobile phone for a fortnight now and am absolutely thrilled! The workmanship and features are very good. I previously had HTC and Sony for the last 3 years (most recently the Z3 and Z5) and I can hardly notice a worse quality in terms of workmanship.
The sound of the built-in speakers is TOP, the best I've had so far. The included in-ear headphones are also good (and I compare them with Sennheiser In-Ear Momentum for 89.-), only the wearing comfort could be better for me.
The scope of delivery is TOP: I was particularly pleased with the included silicone case and the USB-C to Micro-USB adapter - so I can still use my old charging cables in the car and in the office - SUPER!
Software-wise, everything runs smoothly, and the SIM change is absolutely ingenious. I don't really like the original MiFavor 4.0 interface, so I replaced it with the Nova launcher. Android Nougat should arrive in the next few days, I'm looking forward to it.
The fact that the soft buttons at the bottom are not illuminated is a bit of a shame - but at this price, it's certainly something to get over.
The only (small) criticism: compared to the Z5, the photo quality is not quite as good in poor light and without flash. But in good (normal) light, the device takes top photos. However, the flash is powerful enough to take good pictures even in poor light. Maybe that will change with a software update.

I bought the ZTE Axon and can only praise the service from Digitec and give it 5 stars because there is nothing to complain about.
The ZTE Axon 7 is a top device, as you would expect, even though the press and many customers have reported problems with the reception and software.
I can only say that the device reacts absolutely quickly and reliably.the only point of criticism is the mobile internet.which is also the only point of criticism.otherwise the device can remain as it is.
Unfortunately, the device does not always react as it should and often crashes in mobile internet.scrolling is often interpreted as tapping.flickering displays.scrolling very unreliable.skipping pages often forwards or backwards.on youtube, red stripes about 0.3mm wide appear at the edge of the display or around the video.
I hope that ZTE will release a software update as soon as possible so that the otherwise good device also has a functioning mobile browser.and therefore only 4 stars
But otherwise top and still a recommendation from me for the device for those who are looking for a good alternative to the top devices from Samsung and iPhone.

I was quite sceptical at first, as I had never heard of the ZTE brand. However, it was recommended to me and the price was right. And I have to say: this phone surprises me almost every day. I can use the phone for 3 days without charging it (note: I don't play games on the phone). The voice quality, which was criticised in the past, has been improved by a patch. The integrated update system also does its job well. The display is as good as I expect it to be, very good.
It comes with a protective case and headphones, so there are no additional costs for that.
The camera is OK, but could be better.
The price/performance ratio is unbeatable.

I've already had Galaxy S2, S3, S4, Microsoft Lumia 950, LG G3 and now the Axon 7. I'm simply thrilled. There's really nothing that bothers me about this phone. I think it has a very nice design, but some people might find it annoying that the home/back/menu buttons are not illuminated. It doesn't bother me.
When you buy the phone, you get a ZTE VIP card, which includes certain warranty extensions. Top!

I've had the ZTE Axon 7 for a while now and am very satisfied. Sometimes it has little jerks but they are mostly fixed by closing and reopening the app.
The only real problem I've noticed is with the camera, which sometimes starts to buzz when I open the camera app, as if it's constantly adjusting the autofocus a little bit. But maybe this problem is just me.
Otherwise, top mobile phone that serves its purpose very well.

Very good product and at a very low price. Perfect for watching videos

Really good phone, everything is worth the price especially considering its specs.
I feared the custom/heavily IOS inspired interface but I got used to it and start to prefer it over what I previously had on my S4.
Really worth the buy

Unbelievable but this phone is still in use and still works great. Excellent build quality from ZTE. That's why I decided to rate it anyway.

Only annoying side: accidentally pressing on the lock button for 10s restarts the system. The button is in the middle of the right side, therefore very easily pressed.
The Axon 7 is a powerful smartphone. It is no longer equipped with the fastest SoC, but it does everything and always runs smoothly. The battery life is amazingly good, the camera is sufficient, the speakers with Dolby Atmos are phenomenal, and the 2k display is very beautiful.
Unfortunately, the update function does not work (at least not for me) and you have to download and install all updates manually. In addition, it takes a long time for updates and security patches to be released.
Despite these shortcomings, I think the Axon 7 is a solid choice as long as it is still supported by software updates, which I'm sure will be for a while, as it is still Axon's flagship at the time of this review.

Simply a delight. Moreover, the device is far too cheap on the market here. In China, ZTE is an established brand that stands for quality. To gain a foothold in this country - a fighting price. Similar to when Lenovo was still unknown to the masses in our latitudes. No other device offers so much at such a price. Strike!
The included accessories are also impressive: very high-quality, perfectly processed silicone case included. Plus beautiful, high-quality, great-sounding headphones with remote control. Plus a manufacturer's warranty for 1x display repair plus 1x water damage within the first 6 months! Fast charging function: fully charged in really 90 minutes!

This is a truly great phone, I have no idea how they make profit from selling it so cheaply. It has all the features one would expect from a 1000CHF top of the range phone at less than half the price. It has NFC, camera image stabilization, biometrics, a good quality rear and forward camera and for a phone, very high quality speakers and even a huge 64GB internal storage with space for an additional SD card or dual SIM. Did I mention the screen? It is a gorgeous, large, vibrant AMOLED display in glorious 2k resolution. Onto the internals, we have a decent radio which hasn't failed me in reasonable conditions, good wifi connectivity and an acceptable bluetooth stack not sacrificing encoding quality when transferring music to bluetooth audio device. The phone has a slightly modified version of android but ZTE so far has been good at keeping the phone updated with mainline stock android. The modifications from ZTE to stock android actually seem useful to me. They added a glove mode to use the phone in winter and various power saving subsystems you can turn on and off at leisure. There is no garish bigsby button. The biometric sensor is a little awkwardly placed at the back of the phone but it didn't take much getting used to. The screen is also extremely tough, no scratches yet.
In the box also came a set of earphones and a transparent phone case which I'm still using.

Super product, unfortunately a bit big. I use the phone for a CH and EU sim card, so I have no rooming charges in the EU. Unfortunately, the battery cannot be changed by myself.

Super mobile phone that not everyone else has, great value for money. Beautiful design. The only negative point is the "batches" display in the launcher, which are only possible for phone, SMS, settings and calendar.

I was actually going to buy an HTC10 until I discovered the ZTE; almost everywhere twice as good and only half as expensive. Even the battery lasts about 2 days with frequent use (Spotif, Netflix and other battery guzzlers are the usual order of the day for me). Only the screen could be a bit more scratch-resistant, but if you give it a little care, it's just fun.
The one point deduction is only because you cannot use the microSD card together with the 2 SIM cards. In other words, you can use either SIM1 + MicroSD or SIM1 + SIM2.
Excellent product

What I wanted was a good mid-range smartphone with long enough battery life, fast charging, USB-C, NFC, no glass back, good sound (replaces my HTC One M7) and a camera you can use.
I was happy with the Lumia 950, except for the sound, plastic casing and lack of app availability for Windows Phone. Unfortunately, the display went down the drain.
I am totally satisfied with the Axon 7. The sound is brilliant, it feels high-quality. Except for the speakers, there is no plastic. The included case and headphones are plus points.
Top smartphone.

Great value for money, great phone, thanks digitec, I'm looking forward to the android 7 nougat update to take advantage of google daydream and then it will be perfect
I've had the ZTE Axon 7 for a fortnight. Until now, I was always an Android user on HTC (last model M9). I didn't want to spend twice as much on a Galaxy S7 Edge, LG V20 or HTC One.
The hardware of the ZTE Axon 7 is top. The camera could be better, but it's totally adequate for my needs. The sound quality via headphones is great, even better than the HTC M9. With Quickcharge, the phone is charged to 50% in about 30 minutes, perfect for recharging before the evening programme.
recharge.
However, I didn't get on with ZTE's software (I'm an HTC Sense fan). With the Nova Launcher and the Pixel Icon Pack, I created a UI that is very similar to the Google Pixel.
For CHF 479, the ZTH Axon 7 is an absolutely top phone, and I can only recommend it.

I discovered this phone on a video of a youtuber who presents new technology and I decided to buy this phone, and well I am not disappointed at all because this phone is fast, does not heat up even on games that require a high resource, it has a sound quality out of standard, really I'm bluish the quality of this phone, in any case much better than my previous Samsung galaxy s5 which I was rather than the other.I'm really happy with the quality of this phone, much better than my previous Samsung Galaxy S5 which I was quite disappointed with.
