Unfortunately a bad buy. Sony also offers a 16 GB version... but not in Switzerland (at least this model is not listed anywhere).
Only 8GB of internal memory is a real problem, as only about 4GB net is still available. Already during the first installation, after a few apps, I received the message that 85% of the memory was already occupied, and it was recommended to delete apps! The use of an optional SD card does not really help, as many apps cannot be swapped from the internal memory to the SD card. I only managed to install the most important apps with some effort. Today I got a message after an update, but not enough internal memory! Delete unnecessary files! I have already moved everything that is possible to the SD card... so delete apps again... Update... and install again. No guys, this is no fun. Device actually great... but not recommendable because of too small internal memory. I now understand why Apple and now also Samsung no longer offer SD expansion, it's a mess.

Stuck in the bootloader
I bought this phone for my father and unfortunately it turned out to be a serious mistake. After about 4 months you suddenly couldn't start it up. It got stuck in the boot screen or it would show the sony logo, shut down, show the sony logo, shut down again and so on until you did a hardshutdown or it ran out of battery. We sent it for repair, got a new one 4 months later, same thing. Tedious and a pity as the Sony brand is otherwise known as a good brand, I use the Xperia Z series myself.

Better to buy a more expensive Experia Phone right away!
It looks beautiful, super display, good user interface, good camera with super additional functions, but too little main memory.

On the whole, it's a top phone. It is a bit of a shame that there is only 8GB of internal memory. So after a short time you are already at the limit when it comes to installing apps.

At most a budget phone.
After the Xperia Compact Z1, a bitter disappointment. No storage capacity on the phone (not even for the most necessary apps like sbb mobile, schweiz mobil, xing, youtube, fb, whatsapp, office). The camera is unusable for snapshots because the shutter speed is too slow (still pictures with stationary objects are ok).

Good buy for certain people
Top mobile phone,
known problem only 8GB speciher space means very little space as standard 6GB are used up. Some apps can be taken on SD but if you want a lot of apps you should think twice about buying. For the price great and good for e-banking etc apps that are smaller.Pro

It's ok
Overall, the product is all right. Oh, it's just a little bit awkward to use but it's that specific brand anyway.

The memory is a big problem. And you can only fix it to a limited extent with an sd card.
Mid-range smartphone for small budgets :-D
Mid-range device at a very attractive price and with the advantages of Sony: camera, screen quality, technical support, update and finish. Too bad the delivery time is LLLLLLLLLLong.

It was a good buy, I can recommend it!
A lot of handset for the money. The only negative thing to mention is the limited memory. Let's see how well that can be remedied with an SD card.

With 16GB of memory it would be on a par with many top-of-the-range products
First Sony device after years with Samsung. After a short period of adaptation to the software I had no problems.
Very good device, very good finish, excellent screen, sharp and very responsive to touch. Resistant and with water and dust protection that works very well.
On the phone side, video calls are unfortunately lacking, but the reception is very good in all situations.
From a photographic point of view, I think it is a little slow in focusing and taking pictures, but, in my personal opinion, there are cameras for taking pictures.
The only serious flaw, in my opinion, is the memory limited to 8 GB. It is true that you can use additional memory cards, but the applications, many of them, remain installed on the main memory and the 8 GB runs out quickly, plus there are many useless applications pre-installed that you cannot remove. I don't recommend it to people who use a lot of applications.Pro
