Beautifully made soundbar, but hardly a mature product.
Sourround sound is pretty limited - I resolved my 5.1 system and that's where you already notice the difference. If you had nothing before, you may perceive it differently.
The sound is good, but far from overwhelming (compared to B&W or BOSE). This is also due to the fact that you can configure practically nothing. Apart from the equalizer, there are 4 basic settings, but distances or room dimensions are not detected, even if Samsung claims so.
AirPlay is included, but I have problems with it from time to time. Then it can be that you have to remove the soundbar from the power.
The SmartThings app is a joke. Completely unusable to control the soundbar through it, as it has to reconnect every time.

I am absolutely thrilled after my already good experience with the Q800T, which I used for 3 years in Kobi with the old 9500 surrounds. Here, however, the surrounds were too quiet for me. I use the soundbar with a JVC X35 projector in the living room: 1x Bluray player and 1x Amazon Firestick via HDMI.
But this system is a completely different story: the surrounds with this system are sensational and the sound is extremely good. It really sounds like in the cinema. Extremely clear dialogue and almost frightening effects with the right source material.
The 990 would be even better, but it was too expensive for me. I paid almost half the price - which more than makes up for it! The system will certainly stay with me for the next 3-4 years.

This is a great soundbar.
The installation is quite simple and easy.
Super sound and sound, am very convinced so far.
The mega cable tangle through the whole living room from the old Homecinemaanlage I will not miss.

The manual is poor, with little information and even the wrong ones, to be able to connect the Bluethoot or Welan system, I had to search the Internet for information.
Once connected everything works fine, I am satisfied

Samsung has released an attractive overall package with this soundbar system. With the rear speakers, in conjunction with the many channels and Dolby Atmos, the surround sound is immersive. The reproduction of music is also good, but probably does not come close to systems from Sonos and Sennheiser, which are, however, (far) higher in price.
The wireless connection of subwoofer and rear speakers works well. Currently, I only notice occasional sound/connection interruptions when using Spotify (via TV), but that might be due to the app's compatibility with the soundbar.
I am a bit disappointed by the upfiring channels, which I can hardly perceive (although set to maximum). It's possible that this is because of a lack of eARC (enhanced ARC) compatibility. It would be cool if someone could post another experience report on this.
Another point that I find somewhat objectionable is the lack of system integration with the TV. Since I have a Samsung TV, I would have liked that all soundbar settings can be made directly via the TV screen, but instead there is a display above the soundbar, which is on the one hand quite small, but above all impractically placed, because for the settings you have to stand directly in front of the soundbar (except for the bass volume). The SmartThings app only partially remedies this, because it unfortunately does not display all settings of the soundbar.
Overall, it is a coherent soundbar system that still has room for improvement in terms of software.

I like it a lot. Needs a TV with eARC-HDMI for full functionality. Also goes without but then without certain Dolby functions.

Unfortunately, the setup connection with the NeoQLED) was not quite as easy as described everywhere, especially with additional devices like NAS, NVIDIA Shield, cell phones
But when everything is neatly mounted and set up, it is experience
