Hammer part for so little money out of competition

For this price, this is a top smart phone!

Certainly not a bad deal for everyday use in this price range.
I have a rather split opinion.
Basically, the device works well, but it stutters and freezes just like my predecessor (HTC Desire 500) when I am in Google Chrome or have several applications open. In this respect, I wonder what the advertised octa-core CPU is good for if there is little to no noticeable increase in performance in practice. Turning off the power-saving mode and cleaning/accelerating the device with the in-house app did not improve the performance either. The device is also very power hungry, which is also due to the fact that the display is not exactly small and in my case I listen to music almost exclusively via YouTube.
The design is appealing and chic, protective covers are also available.
Unfortunately, the battery is permanently installed, which encourages a throwaway mentality, as it is a rather inexpensive phone.
Dual SIM is certainly a good thing for those who need it.

It makes you wonder why you can spend more than three times as much on a mobile phone.
Camera, processor performance and choice of materials are not quite top, but the difference is not great. Therefore, everything is more than adequate.

Not a top performer, but acceptable for the price
Good photo quality for everyday use.
For the standard operation of making calls, sending texts and surfing the net, everything is fine.
Only the many messages about Google accounts and other pre-set services are terrible.
All notifications have to be deactivated in the settings, which can take a while with all the apps you have.

Good picture and sound quality, nice design.
However, I don't play games myself and don't need many other apps, so I can't make any statements about performance and features. What I also noticed is that there are many pre-installed apps on the smartphone. But that's the case with everyone. Cheap defect after 1 year
Everything is top. Until the device has to be repaired after 1 year. Digitec's repair partner Mobiletouch has zero communication. Only when asked by phone do they tell you that the device has arrived at the company and that they have been waiting for spare parts from Huawei (mainboard) for 3 weeks.

Top mobile phone on a small budget
A successful smartphone for a great price.
The picture quality is really great for this price range. The phone rarely has really noticeable jerks and dropouts.
Highly recommendable for normal use. However, if you use the phone a lot, like I do, the battery life will be a real pain.
the battery life will get on your nerves. I can't manage a whole day without a power bank or charging cable, even though my device is not yet half a year old. The expandable memory was the most important reason for me to buy it. In itself, a very successful device!Pro

Correct product without more
Good quality product, fast processor and nice display.
On the other hand, the big drawback is the low battery life, it does not last more than 12 hours without use with wifi enabled.Pro

Hardware is great
The device looks very chic, especially the back. The lens of the front camera is not centred, which looks a bit cheap.
The operating system runs very fast at first, but then slows down. For example, opening Clash of Clans now takes an average of 10 seconds.
Unfortunately, only 5 of the 16GB are available, which is due to the many hidden partitions (over 50). The microSD slot could help, but now it takes away the dual-SIM function.
The audio chip supposedly has an output power of 2.25W at 4 ohms, but it was not possible to remove all sound effects, so it sounds very bad, distorts everything and suppresses the lowest frequencies almost completely. I estimate that the maximum output power is 0.2W.
The battery basically lasts a long time, but often has quite a demand because of the pre-installed apps (140). The permissions also take some getting used to. With Android 6, Huawei Start (the launcher) needs permission for calls (and 4 others), but the phone app does not need permission for the microphone. Exporting contacts, in turn, needs permission to "send email attachments".
Somehow the screen gets blurry and brighter when using it in the sun. Also, after some time it deleted my root, which is very special.
Wifi reception is a maximum of 10 metres (standard Swisscom router), Bluetooth 20 approx.
Conclusion:
Since I did not bring the sound to an acceptable level in 30 hours of work (although it could sound excellent), I will repair and use my last phone. Apparently my requirements were too high.Pro
