Edifier R1700BT 2.0
1 pair, 66 W
I am an absolute audio fanatic and these things are first class. They are a real audio experience for their size.
I like the sound to be neutral and crystal clear and that's what the Edifier 1700 delivers! They also fit well on the desk. On my PC I use the entry-level studio speakers from Monkey Banana and the Edifier make listening to music a bit more fun.
They are boxes that every audio lover should have at home, be it for the TV, in the bedroom or in the living room. They are also available in pure black.
If you are looking for pure studio boxes, I would go for the following:
Budget and rather small for 100-150.-:
JBL 104
Eris E3.5
Monkey Banana Air (there is at Sound of House for only 150!!)
decent studio monitors for 200.-:
Eris E4.5 or E5
Monkey Banana Turbo (but you don't need BT in the studio :))
KRK Rockit G4

I have the speakers bezgl. sound quality and workmanship really nothing to complain - For the price you get top boxes!
Unfortunately, the (wood) optics looks quite different and is much redder than on the manufacturer pictures. But is probably a matter of taste. After all, real wood and high quality.

The speakers are best for pc or TV.
Loud and bass have exceeded my requirement.
The remote control, ... could have more weight and not look like a China product. The range of the remote is only good if you aim exactly at the right speaker. The price is right.
super speaker :D

In my opinion, the sound of these Edifier speakers is better than that of classic PC speakers.

I listen to a lot of music, usually on an expensive audio system, so I'm very demanding in what I want to feel in the music I listen to, and when I studied this model of speakers a bit more closely, I said to myself that I was going to test them and maybe adopt them. So I adopted them for long hours of listening, but I have to say that I like deep bass so I put a sub woofer to be able to hear some frequencies that these small speakers can't give. This way in my studio I don't have a high end quality but I think it's good to appreciate what I'm listening to.

I am very satisfied. Sound is good, enough bass available even without subwoofer, but I also do not expect a 10,000 franc home theater experience for the money.
A little annoying is that you can apparently only pair one device at a time via Bluetooth. That is: phone paired - no pairing with tablet / laptop. Laptop paired - no pairing with phone / tablet. Fortunately, there is a wired line-in, so you can at least leave the beamer on if you want to listen to music wirelessly via your phone.
It's completely pointless that you can only switch between Bluetooth and cable with the cheap remote control. If that gets broken or lost, there goes the back and forth between the inputs. Absolute humbug.
I would buy it again because of the good sound and the PL ratio.

Good sound, nice look. Am satisfied!
After a lot of research online about the best speakers for my record player, I stumbled upon the Edifier ones more than once. They do not disappoint, and for the price point a perfect entry-level speaker, with a good sound quality.

I bought these speakers after reading all the positive reviews and am very satisfied with them for the most part.
To really get the most out of the speakers, they should be connected directly with high-quality cables and you should use wave files or at least loosless audio codecs to get really good, detailed sound.
The controls for treble and bass are high quality and engage nicely in the centre position, the sound is also really well balanced and quite neutral in the centre position, the treble control has little influence on the sound, the bass is better. The volume control can be turned endlessly and also has fine grids; overall, the volume can be adjusted very finely.
Now to the sound: the speakers sound decent, from good to very good but unfortunately not outstanding, you can't and shouldn't compare them with B&O or Teufel, not least because of the massive price difference. Nevertheless, the music with these speakers really gets under your skin and triggers emotions. The speakers also sound great with films/games.

Price-performance ratio is definitely right.
Seems to be a high-quality product. looks nice.

I have connected the record player via line in. Trebel and bass control in the middle setting, then the bass starts to take on a life of its own after a few seconds. There is a huge hum because the bass loudspeaker starts to vibrate so much (fluttering of the soft suspension) that you practically have to set the rotary control to zero for it to recover.

I am very satisfied. I haven't tried the remote control yet - a bit unnecessary for me.
I bought this to listen my vinyl records with my turntable and I am impressed with the quaility of the product. I come from the HiFi headset world and I did not expected this sound quality in a relatively cheap product like this, for the price is really good. The bluetooth option is handy if you want to connect to devices without jack conector but I will always recommend use a cable: if you want to use a BT, go for other speakers. The controller doesn't work properly if you don't point to the right speaker (where is located the receptor).

These active speakers have a full, rich sound. I use them with my synthesiser and am very happy with them. I will also buy the larger Edifier LS. Recommended purchase.

Edifier have cobbled together something in the midrange that is surprising on first listen and not all that bad over time.
A mini-jack/cinch cable, stereo cinch cable and remote control are included (nice touch).
