I assume this is the dji-fly app. As far as I know, all dji apps require a 64-bit OS and hardware. You can find the list of tested phones with this app at https://www.dji.com/ch/downloads/djiapp/dji-fly. The Redmi9A's OS is 32bit. As far as I know, there is no 64bit OS variant for the 9a, although the hardware supports 64bit.

With the Redmi 9A, we already had a very affordable Redmi smartphone in our test lab last year. Now an "improved" version of the Xiaomi smartphone with the designation 9AT is going through the test course again. It is another model of the Redmi 9 entry-level series. Compared to the Redmi 9A, the 9AT is said to have an additional microphone and thus offer improved noise cancellation. The other specifications of the Redmi 9AT are the same as the 9A model.
