If the stereo system can do Bluetooth OUT (i.e. stream to external BT devices), then this should work.

The Wonderboom is IP67, which means it should survive 1m under water for 30min without any problems and then continue to function exactly as before.

Yes, the speaker is compatible with a MacBook Pro via Bluetooth. You can connect it by putting the speaker in pairing mode and then selecting it in the MacBook Pro's Bluetooth settings. This connection method applies to similar Ultimate Ears Bluetooth speakers as well.

The Wonderboom does not have a microphone. It is "only" a loudspeaker.

🤔 Hmm - I am not aware of the problem. Are there other devices connected to the W-Boom? Is the W-Boom switched on all night long? Mine turns off after a while without a signal 🤔!
Have you ever tried a reset? → 1) Switch on the Wonderboom as usual until the power up sound is heard 2) Disconnect the paired devices or do not connect them 3) Hold the power on/off and volume down buttons together/simultaneously for five to eight seconds: W-boom tone "sounds". Reset finished. → Afterwards, the devices must be paired again (your tablet).
Sounds to me like the battery is shot. How old is the device?
Charging cable is included (micro-usb to usb). Power supply unit not included as far as I know.
You can use the speaker for everything that has bluetooth. I use it for my PC, laptop and mobile phone. It works great. The fact that you have to charge the Wonderboom in between is self-explanatory ;-)
For me, this happens when the battery is not sufficiently charged!
Try charging the boxes first. If it doesn't help, bring it to DOA.
