Hello marcodecia No, that should not work. The adapter requires an operating system on the plugged-in device that takes over the management. A hard drive does not have this. If you want to place storage in the network, you need a NAS, for example, whose software has all the necessary functions and usually even more "built in". I hope you find a device that suits you.
